Remembering the Hmong who died in Custer County Idaho on July 9 2001 this Memorial Day Weekend 2011

On July 9, 2001, in the early morning hours, a van rolled off Highway 93 just below Whitworth's Elkhorn Ranch. The van carried members of the Denver Hmong Alliance Church on their way to the Living Waters Ranch in Challis for a religious retreat. Four members were killed instantly and the teen driver died 2 days later. The tributes to the members who died located along Highway 93 are so touching.
