Amy Lou's Cabins On Fire - December 19 2012

Mackay Fire Department (all volunteer) responds to a fire this afternoon, 19 December 2012 at Amy Lou's Cabins on the corner of Capitol and Custer (aka Highway 93) which were recently remodeled and Amy Lou's (Krosch) house which received heavy smoke damage. Guest Photos by Dianne Layne Parker.

Controlled burn at the Mackay Landfill gets out of hand July 18 2011

A controlled burn of limbs and cardboard at the Mackay Landfill got out of hand today, July 18 2011 and touched off a pile of old tires and old cars. The Mackay Fire Department (all volunteer) had to respond to get things under control as black smoke filled the air just above the Bar Road in Mackay, Idaho.
