Blast from the Past - LLL Cafe on Mackay Main Street - Started around 1932 by Clem and Lafe Atha along with Lee Shinderling and Lafe West. According to John Powers, shortly after the opening of the LLL Cafe, Lafe and Maxine (McKenzie) West took over the cafe and operated it for 40 years.

Russell completed approximately 4,000 works of art during his lifetime. He was the first "Western" artist to live the majority of his life in the West. For this reason, Charlie knew his subject matter intimately, setting the standard for many western artists to follow (from http://cmrussell.org/)
