Mackay Dam 100 Percent Plus May 16 2010
The Mackay Dam is 100 Percent Full and still going over the spillway continuously since April 24, 2010.
5 Hmong Church Members Died Here
On July 9, 2001, in the early morning hours, a van rolled off Highway 93 just below Whitworth's Elkhorn Ranch. The van carried members of the Denver Hmong Alliance Church on their way to the Living Waters Ranch in Challis for a religious retreat. Four members were killed instantly and the teen driver died 2 days later. What a sad loss for both their community and the people of Custer County, Idaho.

Getting Ready for Cattle on the Mine HIll May 16 2010
Eugene Bridges is welding new steps on the cattle chute at the Cattle Guard on the Mine Hill. Cows will be trucked to the Mine Hill tomorrow.
