Terry Uhlenhopp Passes Away - November 20 2012
Terry Uhlenhopp, 44, passed away today, November 20 2012 at Lost Rivers Medical Center in Arco, Idaho. Sympathies to his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the Mackay High School Auditorium. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Chilly Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93 in Arco. Those desiring to make a donation to assist the family may do so through the funeral home.

Remembering - Carrie Ralls Vaught Obituary - Mackay Miner November 25 1936
Carrie Ralls Bransteitter Vaught was born on December 28, 1879 to Frances Ann Keith Ralls (1847-1915) and Benjamin Alexander Rall (1846-1919). Carrie first married Lemuel Bransteitter and later married Madison Scott Vaught aka Scott Vaught. Carried died on April 15, 1937 in Compton, California and is buried at Mt. McCaleb Cemetery in Mackay, Idaho.

Donald Anderson Passes Away November 22 2012
Donald Anderson, 86, of Mackay, Idaho, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Lost Rivers Hospital in Arco.
Funeral services were held at the Mt. McCaleb Cemetery in Mackay, Idaho with the Joe Nowacki American Legion Honor Guard under the direction of Anderson Family Funeral Home on November 25 2012.

Mackay School PTO Plans Cookbook - October 21 2012
Dear Parents,
Grandparents and Friends of the Mackay Schools,
We have decided to publish a community
cookbook filled to the brim with the best recipes from the best cooks in the
valley --- and we need your help! All
the profits from the sale of the cookbooks will go into the PTO treasury and
will be used to help fund various elementary and high school activities. These 5.5” x 8.5” cookbooks with plastic comb
binding will definitely become a cherished keepsake in your kitchen.
We would like to have 5-10 of your
favorite recipes as soon as possible. (Deadline is December 15, 2012) Use the form to submit your
recipes. Please print carefully or type
your recipe on the form, and submit only one recipe per form. Also make sure to include your name, it will
be printed in the cookbook with each of your recipes. Turn in completed forms at either of the
Mackay Schools. Recipes may also be emailed to rebeccaallen1@live.com
Remember the deadline for turning in
recipes is December 15, 2012. Recipe forms are available at the Mackay Schools, online at www.mackayschools.org and www.mackayidaho.com
