Michael Francis Donahue, 68, died July 18, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings. Michael was born October 12, 1943, in Richmond, California, the only child of Francis J. and Beulah Coates Donahue.When Michael was eight years old, his mother died and his grandparents raised him. At age 19 he lost his father. Michael graduated from Mackay High School in Mackay, Idaho with the class of 1961. He met the love of his life, Carol Ann Harvey, and they were married February 8, 1964. They had been married for 48 years at the time of Michael’s death. Michael and Carol were blessed by two sons, Kevin and Corey. Michael worked construction and had worked on the Yellowtail Dam until a rockslide broke his back. After healing, he worked several jobs including truck driving and working at a coal mine in Hanna, Wyoming. He is survived by his wife Carol Donahue of Billings; sons Kevin (Kelda) of Powell, and Corey (Aurora) of Riverton; granddaughter Kimberly Donahue of Billings; and great-granddaughter Audrianna Neff, who was the light of her “Papa’s” life. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23, at Haskell Funeral Home, Lovell, with burial in the Cowley Cemetery.
