Gordon Seefried Passed Away November 22 2011
Gordon Seefried passed away November 22 2011. Gordon's contagious smile will be so missed. Sympathies to all of Gordon's family and friends.

For those of you who have driven an automobile or truck over Trail Creek Road from Mackay to Sun Valley, Idaho - you can only imagine how hard it was for those mules to pull the four heavy loaded wagons!

Blast from the Past - Mackay Challis and Custer Stage Circa 1911
Guy Boyd was a young man from Defiance, Ohio who came to Mackay to find his fortune. This is a postcard he wrote home to his mother, Mrs. Rose Boyd. Living in a tent mid-December ---- up the Mine Hill.

Blast from the Past - Eagles Building Mackay Idaho
The Mackay Idaho Eagles Aerie #754 was instituted on Feb. 6, 1904. Their building was completed in June 1913.
The Eagles Building was razed around 1958.
