Fire Above Moore, Idaho Just South of King Mountain Roads - July 2 2013 4 PM
Revised estimates put the size of the "Beaver Pass" range fire near Moore at 31 acres. According to the Eastern Idaho Interagency Fire Center, firefighters expect to contain the fire at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
No structures were threatened.
The fire was believed to have been started by a lightning strike at around 3 p.m. Tuesday. The fire received some scattered rain overnight which has aided containment efforts.
Four federal engines from the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service, one helicopter and an air attack aircraft. Lost River and Arco Fire Departments also responded to the fire.
