Lafayette "Lafe" Fullmer was born October 20, 1892 in Orangeville, Utah. Lafayette's parents were James S. Fullmer and Eliza Jane Curtis Fullmer. Lafayette was married to Goldy Ruth Ramy who came to Barton Flat as a teacher. Lafayette died October 21, 1924 and is buried at the Barton Flat Cemetery in Custer County, Idaho. Lafe was actually 32 years of age at the time of his death and not 35 as the Mackay Miner newspaper stated.
